Frequently Asked Questions

I offer both solo and small-group training. Solo sessions allow us to focus more specifically on an individual player’s needs, while small-group sessions create more opportunities for competition, decision-making and live play.
Both are designed around the individual players involved and can be adjusted based on age, experience and areas of focus.

I work with boys and girls across a wide range of ages and skill levels, from youth players learning the game to high school, college and adult players.
Players don’t need to be at a certain level to train. Sessions can be adapted to meet players where they are and challenge them appropriately.
-
Solo training is $60 for a single session or $200 for a package of four sessions.
Small-group training is typically $35 per player, with pricing potentially lower depending on the size of the group.
Any applicable gym or facility fees are separate from the cost of training.

Most of my training sessions take place at Bunker House in Santa Rosa. Bunker House requires a separate $15 day pass for players, which can be purchased through their website (https://www.thebunkerhoophouse.com).
I also occasionally train at other locations throughout Sonoma County depending on gym availability and what works best for the player.
-
Solo training sessions are typically 60 minutes. Small-group sessions are sometimes longer depending on the number of players and the type of training.

Every session is a little different depending on the player and what we’re working on. Training may include shooting, finishing, ball handling, footwork, movement, decision-making and live play, with an emphasis on creating situations that challenge players to adapt and solve problems.
Rather than simply running through the same predetermined drills and repetitions, I try to adjust the workout based on the player in front of me. The goal is to challenge each player at the right level while developing skills they can actually use in the game.
-
Yes. Small-group training creates opportunities for competition, live decision-making and working against defenders in ways that aren’t always possible in a solo session.
Players are welcome to train with teammates, friends or other players at a similar level. Group pricing is typically $35 per player and may be lower depending on the size of the group.
-
The easiest way to get started is to fill out the training inquiry form or send me a message on Instagram. Let me know a little about the player, what you’re looking to work on and your general availability, and we’ll find a training option, time and location that works.

Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice can be rescheduled at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged the full session rate or counted toward a training package.
I understand that unexpected situations come up, and exceptions may be made when appropriate.
